What we don't do

• This website sets no cookies of its own.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• No forms that send your details to us. The “Ask a question” form opens your own email app, and nothing is sent until you press Send there.

Signing in, shop, bookings and giving (myLdn)

The sign-in button, the Shop, Classes, the “For you” section on the home page,appointments, Events, giving on the Donate page, Feeds and What our musallis say are provided by myLdn and shown in a frame on our pages. When you use them, you are using myLdn: your account, orders and payment details are handled by myLdn, never by this website, and myLdn may use cookies to keep you signed in. myLdn's own privacy policy applies.

What is saved on your device

If you change the text size, colours or contrast, or hide a notice for the day, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

The site also counts how many different days you have visited and when you last came, again only on your device. While you are new, or if you have not visited for a month, the home page shows a map to help you find the masjid.

The map

The map on the home page is a picture stored on this website, made from OpenStreetMap (opens in a new tab) data. Viewing it does not contact Google or any other map service. Only if you press Directions are you taken to Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Other websites

Some links take you to other services, such as myLdn for checkout, People's Fundraising for online donations, eMasjid Live for broadcasts, and Google or Apple Maps for directions. Those services have their own privacy policies.
